Have you seen these types of campaigns?

  • Flush our debt (Toilet & water system)
  • Brick campaign (infrastructure rebuilding)
  • Digging out (of our mortgage)

While there are very real, immediate needs that these campaigns fulfill, it’s also important to actively plan for the long-term.

Some questions to consider:

  • What are the external trends for operational and capital revenue?
  • If we analyze our property maintenance funds (the past compared to now), what seems to be working that we could leverage? What isn’t working and needs to be adjusted?
  • What might be some different solutions to be more sustainable for the future?
  • How do we consistently work towards the future?

It’s not an easy task to address both the immediate needs and the long-term needs simultaneously. And if you’re working with a group (board, owners, administrators) to make plans, you’ll need excellent leadership.
