Wow-That’s Some Work!

How do you describe your work? ‘Y’ cubic yards of gravel was added in the parking lot. Boring.

Instead, how about something like this?

A rock, the size of an SUV, rolled down the hillside, but didn’t injury any person or building.

The group pulled noxious weeds from about two acres. That’s a little bit more than two football fields.

The site used half a million gallons of water. That’s almost enough to fill an Olympic pool (660,000 US gallons; 50m x 25 m x 2 m minimally).

Sometimes it helps to use common measurement terms (SUV, football field, swimming pool), rather than technical jargon.
