Capital Campaigns: Nice Use of QR Codes (Silver Bay in NY)

Silver Bay YMCA in New York is in the midst of a capital campaign. To educate guests about the projects, they have erected several signs throughout the property. Each sign is located in an area that has a specific capital campaign project. For example, the sign by the store states, “Store Roof.”

All the signs have a consistent message about the capital campaign. At the bottom of each sign, guests are invited to participate by using their smart phones with the square, QR Code (Quick Response Code). The QR Code is linked to a Web page with more information.

If you’re not doing a capital campaign, here is another idea. Use a QR Code to tell the story and give background information about a construction or repair project or update a project.

Thanks to Silver Bay YMCA for their willingness to share great ideas with others.
