rec_mgtHere’s an article about mowing grass/turf, and includes a few key points that can be relevant to outdoor properties that have grounds:

  • Keep mowing height for general/informal turf areas informal turf areas at 2.5 inches to 3 inches and never take more than one-third of the blade
  • When upgrading machines, select the next wider mower. For example, going from a 54-inch to 60 inches is an increase of 11 percent on each pass. This enables more work to be done in the same amount of time.
